Empower Myanmar Opens a Second International School

We are thrilled to announce the opening of the Salt and Light International School in Yangon, made possible by our partnership with our friends at the Salt and Light Coalition in Chicago.

This marks Empower’s second school opening in Myanmar in two years! Empower International School has just commenced its second academic year, while Salt and Light International School begins its first year.

If you can imagine the chaos and uncertainties of a nation at war, you must realize the miracle that has been accomplished.

We are first and foremost grateful to God for His faithfulness and provision. We also want to extend our heartfelt thanks to our dedicated partners who helped make this possible. Additionally, we must acknowledge the tireless and diligent efforts of our team on the ground, led by the remarkable Missionary John McAdams.
