Empower Thailand Doubles Down Amid the Burmese Refugee Crisis

Though Myanmar (Burma) has been oppressed, stripped, and beaten down by heartless, corrupt leaders for decades, the last five years have been the worst.

Since the war began in January 2021, millions have been displaced, families torn apart, tens of thousands have fled as refugees, and over 100,000 innocents have been brutally killed.

The Empower Thailand team is working diligently with our partners, supported by Empower, along the extensive Thai-Burma border.

We provide humanitarian aid in refugee camps and homes for orphans and high-risk children, and we ensure access to quality education for immigrant children.
